Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi, Kenya Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi.
Msengi’s Tours and Safaris welcomes you with a warm reception. Transfer to your hotel for rest and an evening briefing about the exciting safari ahead.
Day 2: Nairobi to Maasai Mara National Reserve After breakfast, travel to Maasai Mara National Reserve.
The drive offers a glimpse of Kenya’s scenic countryside. Arrive at your lodge or camp in the Mara for lunch. In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive in the Maasai Mara, famous for its abundant wildlife and dramatic landscapes.
Day 3: Maasai Mara – Full Day Game Drives Spend the day exploring Maasai Mara.
Morning and afternoon game drives provide opportunities to see the Big Five (lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant, and rhino), as well as cheetahs, giraffes, and hippos. Witness the rich wildlife and dramatic scenery that make the Mara legendary.
Day 4: Maasai Mara
Cultural Experience and Game Drive Begin the day with a morning game drive,
then visit a local Maasai village to learn about their traditional way of life. Return to the reserve for an afternoon game drive. Enjoy the stunning sunset over the Mara plains before heading back to your lodge.
Day 5: Maasai Mara to Nairobi
After breakfast, journey back to Nairobi. Enjoy a leisurely lunch at a local restaurant and visit the Nairobi National Museum or Giraffe Centre if time permits. Prepare for your flight to Tanzania in the evening or the next morning.
Day 6: Nairobi to Arusha
Tanzania Fly from Nairobi to Kilimanjaro International Airport in Arusha. Msengi’s Tours and Safaris will meet you and transfer you to your lodge in Arusha. Spend the rest of the day relaxing or exploring Arusha’s vibrant markets and local culture.
Day 7: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Travel from Arusha to Tarangire National Park. Enjoy a game drive through Tarangire, known for its large herds of elephants and unique baobab trees. Overnight at a lodge or camp within or near the park.
Day 8: Tarangire to Ngorongoro Crater

Depart Tarangire and head to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full day of game driving in this unique ecosystem. The crater’s diverse habitats host rhinos, lions, elephants, and a variety of bird species. Overnight at a lodge with a view of the crater rim.
Day 9: Ngorongoro to Serengeti National Park
Travel from Ngorongoro to Serengeti National Park. Enjoy a game drive upon arrival, taking in the vast plains and the incredible diversity of wildlife. Settle into your lodge or camp for the night in the heart of the Serengeti.
Day 10: Serengeti – Full Day of Game Drives
Experience a full day of game drives in Serengeti National Park. Witness the abundant wildlife, including the Great Migration (seasonal) and the dramatic interactions between predators and prey. Marvel at the Serengeti’s breathtaking landscapes.
Day 11: Serengeti to Arusha
After a final morning game drive, travel back to Arusha. Enjoy a leisurely lunch and a final evening in Tanzania. Optionally, visit local attractions or relax at your lodge.
Day 12: Departure from Arusha
Transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight. Reflect on the incredible safari experiences and the lasting memories made during your journey with Msengi’s Tours and Safaris.
